Step-by-Step Program
Hotel Pick-up (Approx. 1:30 a.m.)
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hurghada. You’ll then board a comfortable, air-conditioned car for the journey to Cairo. Our German-speaking tour guide will meet you in Cairo. Sit back and look forward to an exciting day!
Visit the Egyptian National Museum
Upon arrival in Cairo, we first visit the Egyptian Museum in Al-Tahrir Square. It is considered the largest museum of ancient Egyptian art in the world, displaying more than 150,000 artifacts, including approximately 1,700 pieces from the tomb of Tutankhamun and mummies.
Visit the Pyramids of Giza & Sphinx
We head to the impressive Pyramids of Giza, built during the 4th Dynasty (approx. 2620 – 2500 BC). They are a fascinating example of ancient Egyptian engineering and cultural significance.
Great Pyramid (Cheops Pyramid):
- The largest and most famous, built for Pharaoh Cheops.
- Originally 146.6 meters high; today it measures 138.75 meters.
- Approximately 3 million stone blocks, weighing an average of 2.5 tons, were used.
The Great Sphinx of Giza:
An impressive statue depicting a human with the body of a lion. It is 73 meters long and 20 meters high and is believed to have been created during the reign of Khafre.
Lunch Meal
We’ll retreat to a cozy nearby restaurant for lunch. It’s the ideal place to relax and reflect on the day’s impressions over a delicious meal, sampling local cuisine.
Cairo City Tour & Khan El-Khalili Visit
We head to Old Cairo for a city tour, visiting the fascinating Khan El-Khalili Bazaar. Founded in the 14th century, this market is known for its narrow alleys and diverse shops, where you’ll find everything from handmade jewelry to colorful spices. There are numerous cafes where you can enjoy an Egyptian coffee or tea.
Return Journey to Hurghada (Approx. 5:00 p.m.)
We will leave around 5 pm to head back to Hurghada.

Payment Methods
Payment is due one day before the start of the excursion through a Faristours representative or upon pick-up at the hotel, depending on the type of excursion.
We accept the following currencies in cash: Euros or Dollars. Unfortunately, payment by credit card is not currently possible.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are free of charge up to 12 hours before departure. After that, we charge a cancellation fee of 20% of the tour price.
Transfer Surcharge
From Sahl Hashish & Makadi Bay: 10 € return trip per person.
